Rafael Fonseca brings significant experience in executive management, product management and marketing, sales, and sales operations at established and startup companies. He has a passion for identifying new opportunities and solutions that leverage technology and in helping companies and organizations surpass their objectives.
As part of the founding team at Cedar Point Communications, he was responsible for Product Management/Marketing and Solutions Selling, identifying market requirements, managing product evolution, and developing product positioning in support of sales, market and business development. He has authored several articles and spoken at industry venues on the operational costs of delivering next generation services, considerations for proper lawful interception, service resiliency, and security when deploying new services.
Mr. Fonseca held a variety of positions at Bell Laboratories and Lucent Technologies where he identified and developed solutions for Portfolio Management in the areas of optical networking and switching, and Data Services for broadband networks.
Rafael holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, and an MBA Certification from Wharton School of Business.
