App Project Development and Management
Revenues accumulated by the global mobile application market approximate $30 billion.
The app development debate is sapping up considerable organizational attention today – especially in large organizations that often have the budget and IT resources to build their own mobile business application.
The CHAOS team of Jim Johnson, Steve Swartz and Rick Brutti are joined by Sheldon Borkin, Chief Scientist and Vice President of Progress Software Corporation to discuss how to develop and manage mobile app projects.
Mobile projects are different from other types of projects and there are key things to be aware of when executing applications specifically designed to work on smart phones and mobile devices such as an iPad. Sheldon defines the unique distinctions of mobile app projects, and how to tune-in to the mobile app user. He talks about the team skills needed for mobile app projects, the steps in executing and some examples.
